Job Description
As the Talent Business Partner, you will be the first HR hire for Flow Neuroscience and play a key role in building a strong foundation for our team by developing and implementing HR policies and processes, while also leading our recruitment efforts to attract top talent. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in HR and recruitment. The role will report directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations including policy and process development (50%):
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures that align with UK employment law and industry best practices.
Create and maintain employee handbooks, onboarding materials, and other HR documentation. Implement HR systems as required.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Lead on reward and benefits reviews.

Recruitment (50%):
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Source, attract, and recruit qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments.
Coordinate the offer process, including negotiating salaries and benefits.
Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Qualifications and Experience:
7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on policy development, employee relations, and recruitment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience in a high-growth technology or healthcare company is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
